Mat Pilates

Our Pilates classes are all about helping you reconnect with your body – whether you’re easing back from injury, managing everyday stress, or just want to move and feel better. We hold classes for a range of abilities including complete beginners as well as men’s only classes and mummy and baby classes.

Each session blends clinical expertise with the proven benefits of Pilates.

Using a combination of mat work and small equipment, we focus on precision, control and breath to build deep core stability, improve body awareness and reduce stress.

Whether you’re new to Pilates or returning to movement, our goal is to help you feel stronger, more aligned and more in tune with your body.

Matwork fundamentals

This class is suitable for those new to Pilates or for those who wish for a slightly slower pace focusing on control and precision of movement.

 Exercises will be tailored within the class, you’ll build core strength, improve posture, reduce stress, and move with confidence – this class will build upon exercises so there will be options for exercises progressions if required.

Mat Pilates (mixed ability)

With expert guidance and tailored exercises, you’ll build core strength, improve posture, reduce stress, and move with confidence – this class will add layers to the exercises so they can be tailored to your level within the class.

Men's Only Mat Pilates

This class is a Men’s ONLY mat Pilates class. 

This class is suitable for beginners, can be modified as needed and will cover the fundamental principles of matwork Pilates.

1:1/2:1 Mat Pilates

We offer private private mat Pilates sessions that can be tailored to individual needs, such as injury rehabilitation, pre/post-natal care, improving technique or focusing on specific goals. 

These private sessions provide focused, undivided attention to accelerate progress, increase strength and flexibility, and ensure safe and proper form. 

These can be booked as a one off session so you get the most from classes or on a regular basis.

Dynamic Mat Pilates

These classes are suitable for those that have attended Pilates classes before and want further progression of intermediate to advanced exercises.

Mummy and Baby Pilates

This class is designed to help mums gently rebuild strength, restore posture and move with confidence all whilst bonding with your little one. It will focus on strengthening your deep abdominal & pelvic floor muscles, alleviate common postnatal discomforts, including back and pelvic pain and promote relaxation. 

You need to be 6 weeks post vaginal delivery or 10-12 weeks post c-section dependent on wound healing to attend this class (if you are unsure, please email to check first).
