Lucy Hammond

Studio owner, Physiotherapist and Pilates Instructor

Lucy qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2007 from the University of Bradford and then later completed her MSc in Advanced Musculoskeletal Clinical Assessment and Practice in 2021 at the University of Colchester. She has additional postgraduate qualifications in acupuncture and Pilates and is an international presenter for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute lecturing all over the world. With a background in coaching Artistic Swimming at a national level, Lucy brings a deep understanding of strength and control. Opening Aldeburgh Physio and Pilates Studio has always been the dream and she is pleased to share her passion and skills with you.

Kieran Morling

Physiotherapist

Kieran has over 22 years of experience as a physiotherapist. Qualifying in 2003 from Coventry University with a first class honours degree, he went on to specialise in assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal issues shortly afterwards. He completed his post graduate diploma in advanced physiotherapy in 2013 and alongside his level 5 coaching qualification, he prides himself in offering a positive, wholistic rehab experience empowering his patients to take control of their issues by sharing decision making and building treatment plans together. He has a passion for simple, clear communication, strength and conditioning and health coaching for behavioural change.

Louisa Steed

Physiotherapist

Louisa has over 20 years of experience as a Physiotherapist, qualifying in 2006 from the University of Hertfordshire. She has worked in both acute hospital settings and community therapy teams before specialising in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Louisa offers thorough assessments and a wide range of treatment options including exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, taping techniques and acupuncture. She is also trained in mat based Pilates allowing her to integrate movement and rehabilitation seamlessly into your recovery.

Sophie Martin

Pilates Instructor

Sophie is a Matwork and Reformer Body Control Pilates teacher based in Aldeburgh. She has a passion for movement and teaches down to earth, fun and functional Pilates helping to improve core stability, alignment and flexibility. Sophie feels that Pilates is a wonderful discipline that can work for everyone, regardless of age and fitness ability. Whatever stage of life you are in, Sophie would love to help you progress in your Pilates journey.

Dawn Fazacrekley-King

Pilates Instructor

Dawn’s Pilates journey commenced following Spinal surgery in 2013. Not only did she fall in love with the method, but it helped her regain movement she never thought she would. Her passion for Pilates continues to grow and she strives to help everyone move more and move well. Dawn has completed multiple CPD courses since qualification, including Level 4 Biomechanics Coach.
