About Lucy Hammond

Lucy Hammond is a Clinical Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience across both the NHS and private healthcare sectors. She is also a certified Pilates instructor and an international presenter for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). Her practice is rooted in cutting-edge, evidence-based treatment tailored to each individual – whether you’re recovering from injury, looking to improve your posture, reduce stress or build core strength.

With a background in coaching Artistic Swimming at a national level, Lucy brings a deep understanding of body movement, strength and control. Outside the clinic, she enjoys swimming, cycling and exploring the outdoors with her husband and two young boys.

Whether you’re new to Pilates or seeking expert physiotherapy support, Lucy’s sessions are welcoming, effective and tailored to help you move with confidence.

Lucy’s passion for health and wellbeing shines through in every session. Her approach is both compassionate and professional, ensuring clients feel supported, informed and empowered on their journey to better movement and overall wellness.

After falling in love with New Zealand during her travels, Lucy now holds dual registration with both the UK’s Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Health and Care Professions Council, as well as the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board.
